ABOUT THIS DESIGN
Eiocha – Before the beginning of time, before the gods and people lived upon the land, all lived beneath the sea – “Tir fo Thuinn” – Manannán’s land beneath the waves. Eiocha – ancient Celtic Goddess of the Deep Waters – is a white mare made of sea foam – born on the shore between the land and the sea… The sea horse represents strength and creativity – as they change colors when threatened, and with their strong tails wrapped around the seaweed and sea plants, they resist the pull of the tide and currents…

Some of you ask if you can buy “just the tile”, and we have been happy to help – and sold those to you – with a disclaimer as of how well it may or may not hold up if tiled into your home:)
NOTE:) Our TILE makers say “well suited for areas subject to regular cleaning such as kitchen backsplashes, bathrooms, showers“)
But since we have created these as ART DISPLAY – and as we do not have experience .. yet… with how they would hold up to regular cleaning – we do not necessarily recommend using our ART TILES for backsplashes needing regular cleaning. We will update this info soon!

  • Made from IRON METAL soldered into frame shape – with black semi-gloss baked in finish.
  • Some variations in soldering and finish are part of the hand made look:)
