ABOUT THIS DESIGN
This design is a re-interpretation of an original design from the cross carpet page of the Lindisfarne Gospels. The Lindisfarne Gospels, made in north-east England less than a century after the introduction there of Christianity, is one of the world’s greatest masterpieces of manuscript painting. The monastery of Lindisfarne was founded in ad 635 on a small outcrop of land, now known as Holy Island, lying among the sands a mile and a half off the Northumberland coast. …

HOW TO MEASURE

  • Body Length: Lay garment flat (face down). Measure from center back neckline seam straight down to bottom of the front hem
  • Body Width: Lay garment flat. 1” below the armhole flat measure the garment across the chest
  • Sleeve Length: Lay garment flat (face down). Measure from center back neck to outer edge of shoulder seam, then along outer edge to sleeve end

Silk Screen printing holds up better than digital prints. OLD SCHOOL!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Hand wash best – or Machine Wash Cool/Warm with mild detergents – (inside out)
  • Line dry best – or Medium Tumble Dry (inside out)
  • Do not bleach or use harsh detergents
  • Do not Iron Decorations
  • Or Iron on reverse side with a regular to setting
  • Do not Dry Clean.
