Anu, also known as Danu or Dana, is a prominent figure in Irish mythology. She is often regarded as the mother goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann, a race of supernatural beings in Irish lore. Anu is associated with the earth, fertility, prosperity, and nurturing, embodying the essence of the natural world and its cycles. She is revered as the protector of the land and its people, symbolizing abundance and the nurturing aspects of the earth. She is often known as Aine, or Danu.
